Knight Rider - Fade



This is really good project that give us good understand and knowledge about led lighting systems.You can develop this more and build something new.You can add this to your other project (Ex: Add nigh rider light system to a RC car) In this Night Rider project there is good fade in LEDs. it's awesome !!! So you must use the PWM(~) pins in your Arduino Uno.

What you will need to build this ?








  • Arduino Uno
  • Jumper Wires
  • 6 X LED
  • 6 X 220 ohm Resistor
  • Breadboard

    Build everything on breadboard and don't forget Attach Led bulbs to PWM pins don't use other pins.Because they will not work well with fade effect.

    Ground the led through a 220 ohm Resistor and join the PWM pins to positive of  leds .After all done Upload  the program to the Arduino Uno board. Enjoy !!!

    How to change the Speed ?

    Change "5"

    Ex:    delay(10); // fading will be little                        slower

      Thanks. I have a question: what to change in the sketch so that the light does not come back, just to move one way?
